Selection Process
The selection process for the recruitment includes:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE):
This is the first phase of the selection process. The examination will be conducted online. The test will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The questions will be of Matric level. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete the test.

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
After the written examination, candidates will be required to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In this test, candidates must complete a race within a specified time frame. The requirements are 5 Kms in 24 minutes for male candidates and 1.6 Kms in 8 minutes 30 seconds for female candidates. - Physical Standard Test (PST):
Candidates who pass the PET must then undergo the Physical Standard Test (PST). In this test, the physical fitness and standards of the candidates will be assessed as per the norms of the defense forces. - Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards safe and clean until the end of the recruitment process. They will not be allowed entry into the examination center without the required documents. In addition to the admit card, they must also bring an identity proof and two recent passport-size photographs to the exam hall.
