Eligibility Criteria for OSSSC Teacher Recruitment

Here are the eligibility criteria for various teaching positions:

TGT (Arts):
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Shastri (Sanskrit) degree, or a graduation in Arts or Commerce with at least 50% overall marks from a recognized university. Alternatively, a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE or a four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. program with 50% marks overall is required.

TGT (Science-PCM & CBZ):
You should have a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Additionally, you must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or have completed a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program from an NCTE-recognized institution. Another acceptable qualification is a Four-year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. program with 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized university.

Hindi Teacher:
You must have completed graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in Hindi as one of your subjects. You should also have completed one of the following training courses:

• Hindi qualification from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan in Agra, Shikshan Parangat.
• Completion of the NCTE-recommended B.H.Ed. course from a recognized university or institution.
• Completion of B.Ed. in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras

Sanskrit Teacher:
To qualify, you need a graduation degree with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) from a recognized university/Institution. Sanskrit should be one of your subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Physical Education Teacher:
You should have completed 12th grade or its equivalent examination and hold a C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., or M.P. Ed from a recognized board or university.
