Kolkata Police Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
Education Qualification
Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any recognized board. Additionally, applicants should possess the ability to read, write, and speak the Bengali language.
Age Limit
- Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 30 years as of January 1, 2024.
- There is a relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates, 3 years for Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B candidates, and 3 years for Third Gender/Transgender persons.
- Ex-servicemen candidates can avail of relaxation based on the total number of years of completed service, up to a maximum age of 40 years.
