UPSC 2024 CSE Exam Eligibility
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: Applicants should be a minimum of 21 years old and must not have exceeded the age of 32 years.
Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for candidates in the PWD category. Ex-Servicemen and others are subject to relaxation as per government norms.
UPSC 2024 Civil Service Examination Fee

Once the required fee is paid and the online application form is submitted, candidates will be provided with a system-generated acknowledgment slip that includes a unique registration number. It’s crucial to print this slip and keep it for future reference. UPSC 2024 Exam Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSC Civil Service Examination 2024 is divided into three stages:
Preliminary Examination: This is the first stage of the examination and is qualifying in nature. It tests the candidates on their general awareness and mental aptitude. It is conducted in two shifts on the same day. The first paper is of General Studies (GS) and the second is the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
Mains Examination: Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear for the Mains Examination. This stage consists of nine papers that test the candidates’ academic and intellectual abilities.
Interview/Personality Test: This is the final stage of the selection process. Candidates who qualify the Mains Examination are called for the Interview or Personality Test.
